Secrets to ROI Unveiled in DM Radio Broadcast

ROI can sometimes feel like the Holy Grail that businesses are constantly on the quest for. Information Managment released information about a DM Radio Broadcast on the subject in their brief article, "Determining ROI for Information Management Projects." Listening to this broadcast may offer some ROI in itself.

Hosts Eric Kavanagh and Jim Ericson will interview several experts on business intelligence and data management: David Loshin of Knowledge Integrity, Mike Stiffler of Trillium Software, Imad Birouty of Teradata and Nagesh Kanumury of Perficient.

According to the article:

In good times and bad, savvy businesses keep track of their ROI, the return on investment they get from solutions such as data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence and other pieces of the information architecture puzzle. However, figuring out that value can be quite a challenge, since many of the benefits are "soft” (like getting better insights), though some benefits are clearly "hard" (such as reducing operational costs). Knowing the ROI can keep projects alive, as well as help start new ones.

Podcasts such as this one will not provide all the answers, but they serve as an important step in the process. Listening to smart minds on the subject discuss data management technologies on the market today can be a springboard for organizations who want to make smart investments for their company.
